My name is Annie. I am 38 years old, a wife, mom, and teacher. I was inspired by Amy’s story, dedication, and love towards educators, so I made a commitment to learn from her experiences and expertise. I have now been on my health journey for over a year and lost over 50 pounds.

I was always referred to as “short and round.” I never remember a time that my jeans size was a single digit. Many people have made comments because they thought I was an expecting mother. I had really come to a place that I accepted I was “short and round” and thought that was the best I could be.

Amy has taught me about truly taking care of myself first so I can better care for others. I have learned how to nourish my body with healthy plant-based foods. I have learned the importance of keeping promises to myself “no matter what” which have formed into great daily habits. The accountability and encouragement I have experienced this past year is why I was able to keep going. I now have the tools for when things get hard in life, so I know I will be successful.

Here is why I personally love this program and will keep trusting the process. I feel great, have more energy, sleep better, and have fewer headaches. My biometric health screening results improved, and I am continuing to lose weight steadily while never feeling hunger. My digestion has improved greatly as well which had been a constant struggle over the years. I have formed healthy habits with my eating, exercising, meditating, and taking care of my whole being.
